To coincide with the release of her book - Dream Wedding Photography, Lorna Yabsley ran her first wedding photography course, here at bangwallop on the 5th of July.

based over 2 days the course covered everything a professional wedding photographer needs to know, looking at both the technical and creative sides of wedding photography, as well as dealing with clients and the buisness aspects of the industry. places instantly sold out for the first course leading Lorna to name 3 more dates for the course in September 2010, January 2011 and May 2011.

The BBC TV series Mastercrafts, gave the opportunity for apprentices in six traditional Crafts to learn intensively from a master. To accompany the series, David and Charles Publishing have commissioned a book following each of the crafts – metalwork, woodcraft, stonework, thatching, glass making and weaving, with each chapter telling their fascinating stories, documenting the origins of the raw materials, how they are processed, through to how the craftsmen work, and what tools and techniques they use.

Lorna Yabsley, principle photographer and owner of Bangwallop photography has been commissioned to work alongside the Mastercrafts team to give a compelling photographic account of each craft and the processes involved from the start to finish.
