bangwallop is a fresh, innovative photographic venue based in the heart of salcombe’s traditional boat-building area and it’s emerging arts quarter. 2000 square feet of waterside industrial building have been transformed - the minimalist interior encompasses a gallery with shopping, drinks bar and 3 studios dedicated solely to the art of photography.

the gallery is a constantly evolving exhibition space that showcases the work of internationally acclaimed photographic artists as well as providing a backdrop for emerging photographers. a ‘the pod’ offers a virtual gallery for clients to access and contemplate the bangwallop collections and view commissioned works.

the bang wallop shop, offers a range of funky design led products, books, frames, cameras etc. the cafe, complete the experience.

at the heart of bangwallop are our photographic studios and postproduction facilities; home to founder and principal photographer lorna yabsley. lorna and her highly skilled, creative team of associate photographers and designers, offer an unrivalled service, to both the private and commercial client.

The bangwallop photographic studio, in south devon, is the perfect location for family portraits, modeling portfolios, baby portraits, pet photography and much more.

the bangwallop school offers a range of courses for every level of skill, and interest, from evening classes up to full residential workshops run by high caliber guest tutors and our own in house team.
